Study on the Benefit Linkage Mechanism Between the Top 20 Global Dairy Enterprises and Dairy Farmers

Abstract: The lack of a reasonable industry chain benefit distribution mechanism is the most prominent problem facing China's dairy industry at present.This paper analyzed the typical characteristics of the benefit linkage between the top 20 global dairy enterprises and dairy farmers,and drew on the top 20 global dairy enterprises' raw milk pricing mechanisms,milk collection methods,contract signing models with dairy farmers,technology and financial service systems provided to dairy farmers,and the establishment of sustainable cooperative relationships with dairy farmers and other kinds of benefit linkage.It is important to further improve the pricing mechanism of raw milk in China,give play to the leading role of dairy enterprises,strengthen market risk management and response mechanisms,and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the dairy industry.
