In the process of delivery, cows may have dystocia, birth canal injury and retained placenta, then prone to acute puerperal metritis and endometritis, affecting the uterine involution and subsequent reproductive performance. This trial analyzes the aspects of perinatal hormone changes, division and management of labor process, dystocia and midwifery, retained placenta, definition and classified prevention of postpartum uterine infection in transition period, and expounds the key points of physiological and health management of uterine involution in holstein cows,so as to provide basis for perinatal disease prevention and reproductive health in dairy cattle.
