Silage is a green and juicy feed preserved in silage facilities for a long time in anaerobic environment. The processed, prepared and preserved silage can not only effectively preserve the nutrients in silage raw materials, but also ensure the balanced supply of green feed for dairy cows throughout the year and improve the milk yield of dairy cows. Starting with the analysis of silage raw materials and fermentation process, while emphasizing the satisfaction of silage conditions, this paper introduces the processing and modulation methods of different kinds of silage, such as silage pit silage, bag silage, wrapped silage and silage tower silage, in order to provide help for dairy farms (farmers).
