In order to investigate the infection of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus （BVDV） in calves on a large scale farm in Yinchuan,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,69 blood and faecal swabs were collected from calves within 6 months of age on a farm and tested using a commercial BVDV antigen test kit combined with RT-PCR and microfluidic microarray techniques. The results showed that the commercial BVDV antigen test,the RT-PCR nucleic acid test and the microfluidic microarray test were consistent,with a positive rate of 7.24%. The results indicate that the rate of BVDV infection is high in this cattle farm and that in order to do a good job of decontaminating the disease,testing of the whole herd should be strengthened to prevent further spread of the disease in this farm.
