To supervise the operation behavior of listed companies and protect the interests of small and medium-sized shareholders,it is necessary to play the role of independent directors. Since the introduction of independent directors in 2001,there are still thorny problems such as independence of independent directors is not guaranteed, lack of management practice,doubtful of the ability to take into account multiple aspects of work,and the performance environment has not been duly safeguarded. In order to solve the development dilemma,it is necessary to build a sustainable development road for independent directors in the dairy industry from the aspects of society,independent director system and enterprises.
