[Objective] To optimize the cleaning parameters for low-temperature milk soil by single-factor experiments and orthogonal test design. [Method] Fresh raw milk without heat treatment was selected to create low-temperature milk soil on stainless steel plates, which were then cleaned with a composite alkaline detergent. The effective concentration, temperature, and magnetic stirring speed of the detergent were studied. [Result] The highest soil removal was achieved at an effective concentration of 0.3%, a temperature of 95 °C, and a magnetic stirring speed of 350 r/min.Orthogonal tests further verified the results of the single-factor tests, determining the optimal cleaning parameter combination to be an effective concentration of 0.3%, a temperature of 90 °C, and a magnetic stirring speed of 300 r/min. [Conclusion] The optimized cleaning parameters can significantly improve the cleaning efficiency of low-temperature milk soil, which is of great importance for enhancing the cleaning technology and product quality in the dairy processing industry. Future research can further explore more environmentally friendly and safe cleaning technologies to promote the sustainable development of the dairy processing industry.
