With the development of large-scale dairy farms, manure generated during the breeding process and its treatment have become an important issue for the carbon reduction of agriculture and livestock. In order to solve this problem, taking Hanting District of Weifang City as an example, this paper introduced the mechanism,operation method and application effect of biogas fermentation technology and aeration fermentation technology in order to provide reference for dairy farm. Research showed that both technologies can achieve zero emissions of dung on dairy farms, increase the economic benefits of dairy farming, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of dairy industry. Biogas fermentation technology requires a large area and investment funds, and its effectiveness is better in summer and less in winter. Aerobic fermentation technology does not require a large area of land and invests less money than biogas fermentation technology. It can treat cow manure harmlessly in a short time, solve the problem of inefficiency caused by the excessive consumption time of biogas fermentation, and solve the problem that biogas fermenting cannot continue to operate because the output of gas is greatly reduced in winter. It is suitable for various large, medium and small dairy farms.
