Analysis on Comprehensive Manure Management Mode of Large-Scale Dairy Farms in Beijing-- A Case Study of Dadiqunshengdairy Farm in Yanqing District,Beijing

Abstract: Beijing is a representative city of urban dairy cattle industry, keeps 56 800 dairy cows in 49 large-scale dairy farms. Beijing's dairy industry has developed steadily with local support,however, large-scale dairy farms in Beijing also trouble by high operating costs, environmental pressure and management. Improving comprehensive management of large-scale dairy farms to optimize these regional problems is effective. On the basis of widely investigating the situation of livestock manure treatment of dairy farms in Beijing,this case study introduces the breeding and manure management of Dadiqunsheng dairy farm in Yanqing district of Beijing in order to provide a reference for urban agriculture.
