Investigation and Analysis on the Basic Situation of Free-range Dairy Cows in Xining of Qinghai Province

Abstract: In order to further strengthen the standardized management of all links in the dairy industry chain,ensure the quality and safety of dairy products and the health of the people,and promote the healthy development of the dairy industry,in this paper,the sale situation of free-range dairy cattle and bulk milk in Xining,Qinghai Province was investigated,took Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County,Huangyuan County, Huangzhong District,Chengbei District,Chengxi District,Chengzhong and Chengdong District as the targets,to investigate the breed,quantity,milk yield,breeding,vaccine injection,milking method,raw milk sales,health status of employees and the use of inputs,etc.. The results showed that the main way of raising dairy cattle in Xining was still free-range,the rate of yield and improved breed of dairy cattle in free-range households was low,the way of milking and the level of feeding management were backward,and the quality of raw milk was not standardized.
