Research Progress of Lumpy Skin Disease Vaccine

Abstract: Lumpy skin disease is an acute,subacute or chronic infectious disease caused by lumpy skin disease virus.The clinical symptoms of sick cattle mainly include fever,emaciation,swollen lymph nodes,skin edema,local nodules or ulcers,which affect the weight gain of beef cattle and milk yield of dairy cows,and can cause serious economic losses to the cattle breeding industry. Vaccine prevention and control of animal diseases is an efficient and controllable measure,which plays an important role in the prevention of diseases.In recent years,researchers at home and abroad have carried out a series of research on lumpy skin disease vaccine,and achieved certain results.In this paper,the research progress of lumpy skin disease vaccine was reviewed,hoping to provide reference for the follow-up research and development of lumpy skin disease vaccine.
