Comparison and Suggestion of Detection Standards of Diarrhoeal Escherichia coli O157:H7 between Domestic and International Standards

Abstract: Escherichia coli O157:H7 is one of the most serious food-borne pathogens of Escherichia coli,which mainly exists in beef,milk,fruit and their products,does great harm to people’s health,even death. Therefore,the detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 in food is particularly important. In this paper,the domestic and foreign standards for the detection of diarrheal Escherichia coli O157:H7 were compared,and it was suggested that our standards should be strengthened in the aspects of sample pretreatment,rapid screening methods,etc.,in order to provide help for the rapid and accurate detection of the bacteria,to achieve the construction of international standard system to meet the needs of laboratory testing.
