Effects of Nutrient-enriched Low Fat Goat Milk Powder on Growth and Blood Lipid of Young Animals

Abstract: [Objective]To study the effects of nutrient-enriched low fat goat milk powder on growth and fat content of young animals.[Method]Young SD rats were treated nutrient-enriched low fat goat milk powder,and the experiment period was maintain for 42 days.Growth and development indexes(body weight,body length),food utilization rate,triglyceride,cholesterol,body fat and bone density of femur were measured.[Result]Compared with the blank group,the nutrient-enriched low fat goat milk powder group has no obvious adverse effects on body weight and body length,and no significant effect on body fat,but the bone mineral density of femur was significantly increased(P <0.01).[Conclusion]Nutrient-enriched low fat goat milk powder can promote the growth and development of young rats,promote bone growth,but has no effect on the content of blood lipid and body fat percentage.
