Abstract: Network virtual property is an emerging form of property that has become an indispensable part of our daily lives. Bright Dairy has released three digital assets,marking the beginning of the industry's move towards digitization. In the future,various types of online virtual assets will also emerge. However there are not many provisions on online virtual property in China's Civil Code, indicating that the legal protection mechanism for online virtual property is not sound. Starting from the release of digital assets by Bright Dairy,this paper defined and analyzed online virtual property, analyzed the shortcomings in the protection of online virtual property in China,and ultimately proposed improvement paths.
