Etiological Analysis,Prevention and Control Measures of Clostridium Welchii Disease in Northeast Dairy Farms

Abstract: Clostridium welchii disease is an acute infectious disease caused by Clostridium welchii infection under certain conditions. Clinically,it is characterized by rapid onset,short course of disease,rapid death,high mortality,and severe bleeding of digestive tract and parenchymatous organs. The occurrence and spread of the disease is a serious threat to the healthy development of large-scale and intensive dairy farming in Northeast China. This paper analyzed the clinical symptoms and causes of Clostridium welchii disease,as well as how to prevent,control and treatment,in order to build a sound prevention and control system,strengthen herd management and feeding,improve the prevention and control awareness of veterinary staff,reduce the incidence of Clostridium welchii disease in dairy farms,and reduce economic losses.
