The Realistic Foundation,Constraining Factors,and Advancement Pathways for the High-quality Development of Smart Dairy Farming

Abstract: Smart dairy industry originates from deep integration of digital technology and traditional dairy sectors,and serves as the key carrier to realize quality,efficiency and dynamic transformation of dairy farming. Supported by successive industrial policies,updated information technology and growing domestic consumption demand,smart pasture and intelligent dairy factory construction have achieved phased progress nationwide,with rising penetration rate of intelligent equipment and a steady high qualification rate of raw milk. Nevertheless,industrial transformation is restrained by several structural problems,including heavy reliance on imported core equipment,fragmented industrial chain data and imperfect benefit-sharing mechanism,unaffordable investment in digital upgrading for small and medium-scale farms,insufficient tapping of domestic dairy consumption,as well as a shortage of interdisciplinary professionals and unified industrial standards. Based on field survey data and typical cases of the dairy industry in Wuqing District,Tianjin,this paper sorted out existing development foundation and restrictive bottlenecks of smart dairy sector under the framework of new quality productive forces. Targeted countermeasures were put forward covering core technology research,integrated industrial chain data platform construction,domestic consumption expansion and standardized talent training system,so as to support the shift of China' s dairy industry from scale expansion to quality and efficiency-oriented growth.
