Research on Teaching Reform of Animal Medicine Specialty in Higher Vocational Colleges Under the Background of Cow Ecological Breeding

Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of our country's animal husbandry, dairy farming has ushered in a new development opportunity. Dairy cow ecological farming has become the core of the development of dairy cow farming industry in that year, and under this background, the training of dairy cow farming professionals has also put forward new demands, focusing on training new talents who meet the requirements of dairy cow ecological farming. In view of this, in the context of dairy cow ecological breeding, this paper took animal medicine major in higher vocational colleges as an example, firstly analyzed the demand for dairy cow breeding talents and the employment standards of enterprises under this background, secondly summarized the defects and deficiencies in the current teaching of animal medicine major in higher vocational colleges, and finally put forward teaching reform methods, focusing on employment-oriented teaching. Establishing the awareness of ecological breeding, improving the course design and enhancing the effect of practical teaching are aimed at providing new ideas for the teaching reform of animal medicine specialty and transporting more professionals for the development of dairy cow ecological breeding industry.
