Research Progress on Determination Methods of B Vitamins in Special Medical-purpose Infant Formula

Abstract: Special medical-purpose infant formula serves as the primary food source for infants with restricted diets,digestive and absorption disorders,metabolic disturbances or specific diseases. It is of vital importance for the healthy development of the bodies of such infants. B vitamins are the main added nutrients that effectively participate in maintenaning the normal metabolic functions of infants. Therefore,it is extremely necessary to accurately determine and monitor the content of B vitamins in special medical-purpose infant formula.This study reviewed the research advancements in the analytical determination methods of B vitamins in special medical-purpose infant formula in recent years,summarized the existing problems,and looked forward to the future development trends,with the aim of providing theoretical references for the optimization and innovation of B vitamin determination methods in this field.
