Prevention and Treatment of Common Cow Hoof Disease

Abstract: Hoof disease of dairy cows is mainly caused by various factors such as bad living environment of dairy cows, imbalance of diet nutrition,disease,infection with pathogenic microorganisms and so on,which leads to hoof cutin rot,suppuration of skin and tissue between the toes,and movement disorder. It often brings great economic losses to dairy farms.. At present,the common hoof diseases in dairy production mainly include hoof deformation,rotting hoof disease and hoof inflammation. In this paper,the causes,clinical symptoms and prevention and treatment measures of deformed hoof,rotting hoof disease and hoof leaf inflammation of dairy cows were described,in order to provide reference for dairy farms.
