Application of B-ultrasound Imaging Technology in Breeding Work of Dairy Farm

Abstract: At present,B-ultrasound imaging technology(short for B-scan)plays an irreplaceable role in the breeding work of dairy farms. This paper introduced the basic principle of B-scan and the basic application methods of rectal examination and B-scan in the early pregnancy diagnosis of dairy cows. B-scan can more accurately judge the different gestation days of embryos,and can check postpartum uterine diseases of dairy cows,so as to make accurate diagnosis. B-scan can also judge ovarian conditions such as ovarian stasis,follicular cyst,luteal cyst and persistent luteal body according to different echo states of the ovary. It can be combined with rectal examination to effectively improve the early pregnancy diagnosis rate and reproductive system disease diagnosis rate of dairy cows.
