Application of Buserelin in the Treatment of Ovarian Cysts in Dairy Cows

Abstract: Ovarian cyst refers to the formation of cystic masses on the ovaries of dairy cows,which are mainly divided into follicular cyst and luteal cyst.Ovarian cyst is one of the main causes of reproductive disorders in dairy cows,which often leads to infertility,prolonging calving interval and increasing feeding cost,causing serious economic losses to large-scale dairy farms.The main causes of ovarian cysts are hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis dysfunction,there are also factors such as nutrition management,reproductive diseases and the environment.At present,the main treatment method is the injection of exogenous hormones.This article reviews the therapeutic effect and research progress of buserelin on ovarian cysts,aiming to provide a reference for improving the cure rate of ovarian cysts in dairy cows and the reproductive efficiency of pastures.
