Present Situation and Suggestions of Young Goat Breeding in Shaanxi Guanzhong Area

Abstract: In order to understand the current situation of young goat breeding in dairy goat farms, the daily management, feed management and breeding situation of 29 dairy goat farms in Shaanxi Province were investigated and comprehensively analyzed. Through investigations and visits, it is found that most farms have the problems such as uneven daily management levels, the breeding level is greatly affected by the region, insufficient exercise volume of young goat, and unreasonable feeding methods. In response to the problems and hidden dangers found in the investigation, positive suggestions and countermeasures were put forward to improve the overall level of young goat breeding in the dairy goat farm.
