Analysis on Energy Composition of Energy-yielding Nutrients in Donkey Milk with Different Fat Contents

Abstract: The study analyzes the ratio of energy-yielding nutrients to the total energy in donkey milk with different fat contents. The result shows the ratio of the energy from fat, protein, carbohydrate (lactose) to total energy in donkey milk with an average fat content of 0.89% to 1.24% are 20.25%~25.41%, 12.99%~18.24%, 57.46%~65.03% respectively, which meets Chinese adult's energy-yielding nutrient percentage requirement recommended by Chinese Nutrition Society. Donkey milk with the fat content of 0.89% to 1.24% has relatively high nutritional value.
