Abstract: Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease caused by schistosomiasis infection,which is common in human or mammal such as cattle, sheep,pig,horse,dog,rabbit,cat,etc.It is one of the most susceptible diseases of cattle. The World Health Organization (WHO) has listed it as one of the key tropical diseases for prevention and control. Although China is seriously threatened by schistosomiasis,in recent years,with the joint efforts of many parties,the prevention and control work has achieved remarkable success.However, with the advent of rainy season,there are many cows grazing on the beach of the south Yangtze River Basin,and the feces are discharged randomly.The snails of the intermediate host breed in large quantities,which creates a very powerful condition for the prevalence of schistosomiasis and it should be effectively prevented and controlled.
