The Production of Corn Silage Feed and Its Feeding Advantages in Dairy Cattle breeding

Abstract: Corn is one of the world's most productive crops and an important source of food and feed raw materials.Corn whole plants can be properly treated and fermented in anaerobic environment to produce silage.Corn silage is widely used in the production of dairy cow feed due to its characteristics of rich nutrition,good palatability,easy digestion and simple production.The preparation procedure of corn silage is simple and easy to master. First of all, it needs simple and sealed storage facilities,such as silage or silage trenches.Secondly,it is necessary to harvest the whole corn in the appropriate period.The successful production of corn silage has the aroma of pickles, the color is yellow-green,no decay.Green corn feed can not only well meet the daily nutritional needs of dairy cows,but also solve the problem of less feed source for dairy cows.
