Detection and Prevention and Control of Antibody Level of Infectious Rhinotracheitis Virus in a Large-scale Dairy Farm in Xinjiang

Abstract: In order to investigate the incidence of bovine infectious rhinotracheitis(IBR)on a large-scale dairy farm in Xinjiang,a total of 362 samples of bovine serum from different developmental stages were collected and the bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus gB(IBR-gB)antibody detection reagent was used. The kit detects the antibody titer of the bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus(IBRV),and evaluates the immunization effect of the IBRV vaccine on the dairy farm.The results showed that the positive rates of IBRV antibodies in the calves and young cattle were 88.57 %(31/35)and 75.00 %(21/28) respectively.Adult cows were lactating cows,and dry milk.The positive rates of IBRV antibody in cows were 81.46%(145/178),and 95.04%(115/121).There were 44 negatives and 8 suspicious ones.The average positive rate of IBRV antibody was 88.38%.The results showed that after vaccination,cattle at different stages of production can produce good antibody protection,providing a basis for dairy farms to prevent and control IBR.
