Investigation and Causes Analysis of Postpartum Metabolic Diseases in Yishui Dairy Cows

Abstract: Great changes have taken place in physiological metabolism of dairy cows after delivery. Due to physical consumption,their disease resistance is also relatively low. If postpartum care is improper,metabolic diseases are easy to occur. This paper investigated the postpartum metabolic diseases of dairy cows in Yishui County by means of field visits and discussion, summarized the incidence rate,susceptible herds and symptoms of postpartum metabolic diseases,analyzed the causes of postpartum metabolic disease from the aspects of physical loss during delivery,exercise volume,feeding methods,nutrition matching,stress and pathological factors,and put forward scientific delivery,appropriate exercise,reasonable diet,regular and quantitative feeding,stress prevention,postpartum care and other measures to promote postpartum physical fitness and physical recovery of dairy cows,provided reference for reducing the occurrence of postpartum metabolic diseases.
