Abstract: [Objective] In order to solve the difficulties in reducing the feed cost of weaned calves in dairy enterprises. [Methods] Based on the feeding and management technology level of weaned calves in Tianjin Jialihe Husbandry Group Co.,Ltd.,this experiment adjusted the nutritional level of the early calf compound,developed new calf late calf compound,and compared the feeding effects of two kinds of calf pellet in weaned calves. [Results] There was no significant difference in total feed intake, daily gain,height of daily gain,oblique length of daily gain and abdominal circumference of weaned calves fed two kinds of pellet diets （P > 0.05）. The average total feed intake was 5.70 kg and 5.90 kg and the average daily gain was 1.20 kg and 1.22 kg,respectively. The average ADG height was 0.23 cm and 0.22 cm,the average ADG oblique length was 0.27 cm and 0.28 cm,and the average ADG abdominal circumference was 0.43 cm and 0.44 cm,respectively. The diarrhea rate of weaned calves was reduced by 0.20 percentage point and the cost of dietary intake was reduced by 133.98 yuan/h·d after feeding the late compound. The daily weight gain cost can be saved 24.36 yuan/h·d.[Conclusion] The late calf compound can not only reduce the feeding cost of weaned calves,but also meet the growth and development nutritional needs of weaned calves.
