Thoughts and Suggestions on the Future Breeding Path of Dairy Goats

Abstract: Livestock and poultry breeding industry is the foundation of the development of animal husbandry and an important manifestation of its core competitiveness. Milk goats are one of the important livestock breeds in China,and their excellent economic traits show significant genetic differences. This paper mainly reviewed the breed resources,breeding stages,and industry development predictions of dairy goats,summarized the progress of sheep breeding industry and breeding technology,and look forward to the future breeding path of dairy goats,in order to provide new ideas for dairy goat breeding.
