Evaluation of Measurement Uncertainty of 1,3-dioleic acid-2-palmitic acid Triglyceride in Infant Formula

Abstract: 1,3-dioleic-2-palmitic triglyceride,also known as OPO,is a special fatty acid molecular structure,which can be used as one of the fat substitutes of breast milk. At present,enterprises mostly use the enterprise non-standard method in the detection of 1,3-dioleic acid-2-palmitic acid triglyceride. Before using the non-standard method, it is generally necessary to confirm the detection method, and the evaluation of component measurement uncertainty is the most important link in the process of method confirmation. In this paper,gas chromatography was used to evaluate the uncertainty of this detection method from four aspects: concentration,weighing,constant volume and instrument itself. The uncertainty of the method was U=5.04%(k=2), which met the general requirement of U≤10%.
