Discussion on Ammoniation of Crop Straw for Feeding Cattle and Goats

Abstract: Promoting the comprehensive utilization of crop straw is an important measure to improve the quality of rural cultivated land,improve the agricultural and rural ecological environment,accelerate the green and low-carbon development of agriculture and help the "double carbon" work. Ammoniating crop straw and promoting the industrialization of ammoniated straw cattle and goats raising technology can promote the transformation and value-added of straw feed,reduce food consumption,enhance the link role of straw in the planting and breeding cycle,and expand the straw cattle and goats raising industry. The test showed that the ammoniated straw can increase the content of crude protein by 100% ~ 150%, reduce the content of crude fiber by 10%,and increase the digestibility of organic matter by more than 20%,which can significantly improve the palatability,digestion and utilization of cattle and goats.
