Abstract: Newborn calf diarrhea morbidity and mortality is higher, causing serious economic losses. The contamination of newborn calves ' mouth and nose is one of the main inducing factors of diarrhea in 1~14 days old calves. From the perspective of production management control the muzzle the calf diarrhea caused by pollution is the key to check the newborn calf diarrhea prevention measures. The standardized management of midwifery is an important part of preventing the disease. Improper management of prenatal preparation, intervention in the delivery process, and nursing of newborn calves may cause an increase in the incidence of diarrhea caused by mouse and nose contamination of newborn calves. In addition, other aspects such as environmental sanitation management, calf diet management and pasture staff management may also lead to a high incidence of the disease. This paper explained how to prevent the newborn calf nose and mouth pollution from these aspects.
