Abstract: The innovation and entrepreneurship training mode of Cattle Elite Challenge meets the needs of the current supply-side reform of higher education,plays an important role in promoting the awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship of college students and enhancing the employment competitiveness of undergraduates. It also conforms to the orientation of applied talents training of entrepreneurial universities. This paper was based on Cattle Elite Challenge for cattle production. The reform plan was put forward in the practice teaching process,which was carried out in the undergraduate students majoring in animal science. The results showed that after the reform,the students have significantly improved their practical ability in the practical teaching of this course,practical ability,comprehensive application of knowledge and other aspects. The effect of the practice teaching after the reform is good,and it can be used for reference in the future practice teaching of this course.
