Parturition, Midwifery and Midwifery of Dairy Goats

Abstract: Feeding dairy goats can breed new dairy goats to meet the human needs of goat milk and mutton.Sheep milk and mutton are nutritious and delicious,with high market demand and reasonable price.In the comparison of rural breeding projects, dairy goat breeding has higher production efficiency and good development prospects.The purpose of breeding dairy goats is to breed new individuals,produce mutton and milk,and obtain economic and social benefits.The success or failure of dairy goat breeding is determined by whether the dairy goat can have normal pregnancy and childbirth and give birth to new individuals.The expected date of birth can be calculated according to the gestation period and mating time of dairy goats.Pay attention to the change of the ewe before the arrival of the due date,and prepare for delivery when there are signs of labor;Midwifery is performed immediately if needed.This paper introduces the parturition symptoms, parturition process,delivery and midwifery measures of milk goat ewe for reference.
