Diagnosis and Control of Calf Diarrhea in Scaled farms

Abstract: This paper introduces the contents of strengthening the management of delivery in delivery room, colostrum quality test,colostrum disinfection and standardized management of feeding,and immunoglobulins transfer in prevention of calf diarrhea. The clinical symptoms,pathological changes and main points of prevention and control of diarrhea caused by three kinds of nutrient deficiency in calves were introduced. The symptoms, diagnosis and control points of rotavirus diarrhea,colibacillosis diarrhea,salmonella enteritidis diarrhea, cryptosporidiosis diarrhea and coccidiosis diarrhea were introduced. It provides theoretical and technical support for the veterinarian in the large-scale pasture to master the prevention and control of calf diarrhea disease.
