Abstract: [Objective]Evaluation of the immune-regulating and gut microbiota health-care functions of bovine colostrum probiotic powder.[Method](1)Helps to enhance immune function evaluation. After continuous gavage of bovine colostrum probiotic powder at three doses of 0.415 g/kg·BW, 0.830 g/kg·BW, and 1.660 g/kg·BW (equivalent to 5, 10, and 20 times the recommended human dose) to mice for 30 days, cellular immune function, humoral immune function, monocyte macrophage function and NK cell activity were determined.(2)Helps to regulate gut microbiota function evaluation. After continuous gavage of bovine colostrum probiotic powder at three doses of 0.415 g/kg·BW, 0.830 g/kg·BW, and 1.245 g/kg·BW (equivalent to 5, 10, and 15 times the recommended human dose) to mice for 14 days, the changes were observed in gut microbiota(Enterococcus,Escherichia coli,Clostridium perfringens,Lactobacillus,Bifidobacterium) before and after the experiment, both within and between groups.[Result](1)The bovine colostrum probiotic powder at doses of 0.830 g/kg·BW and 1.660 g/kg·BW could significantly enhance delayed type hypersensitivity in mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01),the bovine colostrum probiotic powder at doses of 1.660 g/kg·BW could increase the half hemolysis value(HC50) of mice(P<0.01),and the bovine colostrum probiotic powder at doses of 0.830 g/kg·BW and 1.66g/kg·BW could enhance the phagocytic function of peritoneal macrophages(P<0.05 or P<0.01).(2)Compared with the control group and before self gavage, there were no significant difference in the content of Clostridium perfringens,Escherichia coli, and Enterococcus in each dose group(P>0.05).The content of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus increased significantly in the 0.830 g/kg·BW and 1.245 g/kg·BW dose groups, with significant differences(P<0.05 or P<0.01).[Conclusion]The bovine colostrum probiotic powder had the health functions of enhancing immunity and regulating gut microbiota.
