Study on Supplementary Feeding and Early Weaning of Giragin Silk Yak

Abstract: In order to improve the breeding performance, achieve one production per year and increase the breeding benefits, 30 healthy pregnant Gila golden silk yaks were selected in Zhongba county, Tibet autonomous region to carry out a comparative supplementary feeding test, and the early weaning test was carried out on their yaks. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the days of pregnancy between the experimental group and the control group.There was 83 days in the experimental group and 87 days in the experimental group on the days between postpartum breeding. The difference between the control group and the experimental groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ was significantly. There was no significant difference in birth weight of yak calf and daily gain of yak calf at 60 days of age between control group and experiment group Ⅰ and Ⅱ. Compared with the control group,the daily gain from weaning at 60 days of age to 180 days of age was significantly different in experimental groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ. The average daily gain was 248.197 2 g in control group,406.979 6 g in test group Ⅰ and 399.994 4 g in test group Ⅱ at 180 days of age. In terms of economic benefit,the experimental group increased by 4 500 yuan/head compared with the control group.
