Design of Cleaning Technology and Cleaning Effect Verification Method of Milk Storage

Abstract: Milk storage tanks(especially“vertical milk storage tanks”) are important product temporary storage equipment for liquid milk factories,and their own poor cleaning effect can cause pollution to stored products and affect products quality. The cleaning process and cleaning devices used in the milk storage tanks are different due to the difference in size and structure,and the products characteristics of the contents. This paper described the classification and structure of milk storage tanks,the setting of CIP cleaning parameters,such as temperature,cleaning solution concentration,mechanical force,time,product characteristics;the selection of cleaning devices, such as the selection of the washing ball,the length of the connecting rod,and the connection method;verification method of cleaning effect. Reasonable cleaning process design can effectively avoid or reduce cleaning problems,and reduce the risk of product quality due to unclean tank cleaning. Verification of the cleaning effect of the milk storage tanks can make the cleaning process design more appropriate and effective,and can detect the cleaning problem of the milk storage tanks in time.
