Nutritional Regulation to Alleviate Heat Stress in Dairy Cows

Abstract: Dairy cows are extremely sensitive to high temperature and humidity. Heat stress not only affects the appetite and endocrine system of cows,reduces milk production and milk quality, but also causes a series of diseases such as mastitis,which causes huge economic losses to the dairy farming. This article introduced the production and harm of heat stress in dairy cows,and summarized nutritional regulation such as dietary composition content,ratio adjustment and the use of additives. It is expected to provide a nutritional plan for the effective alleviation of heat stress in dairy cows and reduce the loss caused by heat stress.
