Assessment on Uncertainty of Staphylococcus Aureus Count in Milk Powder

Abstract: [Objective]To evaluate the uncertainty of the detection results of Staphylococcus aureus in milk powder. [Method]According to the second method of GB 4789.10-2016 National food safety standard-Food microbiological Detection of Staphylococcus aureus and JJF 1059.1-2012 Evaluation and Representation of Uncertainty Measurement,taking the milk powder of the standard quality control product as an example,analyzed the uncertainty introduced by sample preparation,dilution process,sample addition process,and repeatability testing. [Result]The amplification uncertainty of the detection results of Staphylococcus aureus in milk powder was U=0.108. [Conclusion]The method established in this study is suitable for the uncertainty assessment of Staphylococcus aureus under similar test conditions.
