Abstract: Calves are the reserve force for pasture development,and high-quality calf breeding is one of the favorable guarantees for the sustainable development of pasture. Therefore,scientific calf feeding and management measures and appropriate calf feeding mode are very important for calf breeding. This paper summarizes the feeding technologies,management measures and disease prevention of lactating calves under the automatic feeding mode,and lays special stress on colostrum,feeding plan,supplementary feeding,milk powder and starter,feeding standard,feeding environment,management details,disease treatment plan and so on,in order to provide some references for the pasture of calves under this mode.
