Research Progress in Determination of Vitamin A and E in Dairy Products and Other Foods

Abstract: Vitamins A and E are essential vitamins for the human body. They are mainly derived from dairy products and other foods. Therefore,it is particularly important to study the determination methods of Vitamin A and E in foods. Several methods for the determination of Vitamins A and E in foods are introduced. They are electrochemical analytical methods,spectrophotometry,gas chromatography,gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry,high performance liquid chromatography,high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry and high performance liquid chromatography. Their operational processes have been analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of various methods have been compared. These results provided reference for improving the detection standards of Vitamin A and E.
