Etiology and Comprehensive Prevention and Treatment of Endometritis in Dairy Cows

Abstract: Endometritis is a common disease in dairy farming. The disease is characterized by high morbidity,low mortality and long course. The milk yield of cows suffering from endometritis is seriously reduced,the reproductive performance is impaired,and the serious ones will cause infertility and be forced to be eliminated,which is harmful to the dairy farming industry in China. This paper mainly discussed the causes and clinical symptoms of endometritis in dairy cows,as well as the common methods of diagnosis and treatment of the disease,and put forward some preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of the disease,such as strengthening feeding management,strict operation procedures of artificial insemination,strengthening management of dairy cows delivery and paying attention to environmental hygiene.
