Evaluation of Immune Effect and Prevention and Control Measures Against Peste Des Petits Ruminants of Dairy Goats in Changyuan City, Henan Province, 2018-2020

Abstract: In order to understand the epidemic situation and immune antibody level of Peste des petits ruminants of dairy goats in Changyuan city,the blocking ELISA method and real-time PCR method were used to collect serum and nasal swab samples from 32 dairy goat free range households in Changyuan city from 2018 to 2020 to detect the immune antibody and etiology of Peste des petits ruminants.The results showed that: in 2018,2019 and 2020, the qualified rate of serum antibody was 83.13%,85.64% and 86.67 respectively,with an average of 85.17%,higher than 70.00% stipulated by the state.All samples were negative.It is suggested that the overall immune effect of vaccine in Changyuan city is good,and sheep have the basic ability to resist the invasion of Peste des petits ruminants.This study provides reference for formulating scientific and reasonable prevention and control measures,gradually eliminating peste des petits ruminants and withdrawing immunization plan of Peste des petits ruminants in Changyuan city.
