Application of Artificial Insemination Technology with Fresh Semen of Dairy Goats in Linyi City

Abstract: Linyi has good agricultural resources which is suitable for the development of dairy goat breeding. However,at present,the traditional natural mating breeding rate of dairy goats is slow and the conception rate is low,which is not conducive to the rapid development of dairy goat breeding industry. In recent years,due to the advantages of artificial insemination technology, such as enhancing the reproductive rate,enhancing the conception rate,improving the utilization rate of breeding rams and reducing costs,it has been widely used and promoted in animal husbandry. However,the success rate of artificial insemination is affected by many factors,such as ewe oestrus,semen collection and preservation,insemination methods,etc. Therefore,enhancing the understanding of this technology is of great significance for promoting the breeding of local dairy goat breeds.
