PCR Detection of Common Pathogens of Cow Mastitis in Tieling District,Liaoning Province

Abstract: [Objective]To study the pathogenic bacteria of cow mastitis in large-scale dairy farms in Tieling,Liaoning Province.[Method]178 fresh milk samples with cow mastitis were collected from major local farms through bacterial isolation,identification and PCR detection analysis.[Result]125 cases of pathogenic bacteria were detected,the detection rate was 70.22%,and the mixed infection was slightly higher than the single bacterial infection.After analysis,186 strains of 36 bacterial species and genera were obtained.The first three strains with the highest isolation rate were 47 strains of Staphylococcus,43 strains of Escherichia coli and 32 strains of Streptococcus.The detection rates of pathogenic bacteria were 25.27%,23.12% and 17.2% respectively.[Conclusion]Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Streptococcus were the main pathogens of cow mastitis in Tieling,Liaoning Province.
