Analysis of Therapeutic Effect of Different Compatibility of Kudzu Qianlian Soup Decoction on Calf Diarrhoea

Abstract: [Objective] To investigate the therapeutic effect of different combinations of Kudzu Qianlian soup decoction in calf diarrhoea. [Method] Sixty-nine 3~60-day-old calves with diarrhoea were randomly divided into 3 groups with 23 cases in each group. The trial I group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine formula 1,and the dose was controlled at 100~150 g/time·head according to the age and weight of the calves. The trial II group used traditional Chinese medicine formula II for treatment,and the dosage was the same as that of the trial I group. The trial III group was treated with gentamicin or penicillin,and the treatment effect of different regimens was judged according to the efficacy criteria. [Result] The total effective rates of trial I group and trial II. group were 91.31%,which was significantly higher than that of trial III. group of 56.52% (P<0.05),and the incidence of vomiting,rapid heart rhythm,rash and other adverse reactions in trial I group and test II group was 0,which was significantly lower than 26.09%,4.35% and 4.35% (P<0.05)in trial III. group. [Conclusion]The two different formulas of Kudzu Qianlian soup decoction have obvious therapeutic effects in the treatment of calf diarrhoea,and there are no adverse reactions,which can be used for the clinical treatment of calf diarrhoea.
