Treatment of Postpartum Uterine Disease of Dairy Cows with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract: Foetus retention, endometritis and uterine prolapse are common postpartum uterine diseases in dairy cows. The main clinical symptoms are foetus retention, uterine mucosal inflammation and uterine prolapse. These diseases have high morbidity and low mortality, which seriously affect the production performance and fertility of dairy cows, and even lead to the early elimination of dairy cows, resulting in greater economic losses. In clinical practice, the combination of Chinese and Western medicine can improve the cure rate of uterine diseases of dairy cows and shorten the rehabilitation time.
