玉米是全世界总产量最高的农作物之一,是粮食和饲料原料的重要来源。玉米全植株可通过适当处理后在厌氧环境下发酵制作成青贮饲料,玉米青贮因营养丰富、适口性好、易消化、制作简单等特点而被广泛应用于制作奶牛饲料。玉米青贮的制备程序简单,容易掌握,首先需要简易、密封性好的贮藏设施,例如青贮窖或青贮壕;其次是选择适宜时期收割全株玉米,最后进行简单处理后装填密、封一段时间即可;制作成功的玉米青贮具有泡菜的芳香味,颜色呈黄绿色,无腐烂。青绿玉米饲料既可以很好满足奶牛日常营养需要,同时也解决了奶牛饲料来源少的难题。
