Diagnosis and Prevention of Goat Pox

Abstract: Goat pox is a viral infectious disease caused by the goatpox virus (GTPV).It spreads rapidly and has a high mortality rate,making it a common problem in modern livestock farming.Based on years of clinical experience,this paper analyzed the occurrence,clinical symptoms,and laboratory diagnosis of goatpox virus, and proposed practical prevention measures,such as quarantine and disinfection,reasonable feeding,regular and emergency vaccination,and epidemic area management,to provide reference for farmers and reduce the adverse effects of goat pox.
