On the Sustainable Development of High-yielding Dairy Cow

Abstract: Currently, the dairy cow industry is growing the fastest in China's livestock development and has become one of the important pillar industries in the national economy, showing an overall quantitative and extensive growth. There are many factors affecting the development of high-yielding dairy cows, such as nutritional factors, breeding technology, environmental factors, and artificial intelligence technology, which not only directly affect milk production and quality but also affect reproductive performance. With the beginning of the large-scale development of dairy farms, it will also bring adverse effects on the environment, such as greenhouse gas emissions, soil pollution, and water pollution. While promoting the development of high-yielding dairy cows, it is necessary to pay attention not only to healthy breeding but also to the impact on the environment, and to take measures to control and improve it in a timely and active manner.
